Hello! I am Shawnita Lea.

I am so glad you stopped by my little corner of the internet. I am a wife, mother, foster mother, homeschool teacher, and homesteader. I live in Eastern Washington with my husband and four children on our cattle ranch. Together, we raise beef cattle, dairy cows, rabbits, chickens, and pigs.

I love to work with my family on our land and with our animals. If we are not outside, you can usually find me with a book and a cup of coffee or sewing for myself or my family. I also enjoy cooking from scratch and baking bread for our family of six.

Before deciding to stay home with our children, I worked in various administrative support positions in the public and private sectors. While pregnant with my second child, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management. My favorite thing is to take a chaotic situation and bring order to it. I think that is why we have four children and a homestead. I always have lots of chaos to tame.
